Following on the heels of a lineup of popular musical performances at the historic Aitkin Opera House, the Legacy Chorale of Greater Minnesota will be presenting a special holiday concert on Saturday, December 10th – “Sing We Now of Christmas” – it has been announced today.

The concert, which starts at 7:30 p.m., is scheduled as part of the choir’s 15th Season, and will bring to the community its superb performances of classic Christmas songs just two weeks before the festive holiday.

Founded in 2001, the choir is comprised of more than 60 singers from nearly 20 communities located around Brainerd Lakes and Cuyuna Lakes areas.

The choir’s mission is to ‘ensure the legacy of excellence in choral music in the greater Minnesota area, while enriching, inspiring, and renewing the communities in which we live.’

Admission to the concert is $12.00 and doors will open at 6:30.         The Legacy Chorale of Greater Minnesota is a non-profit organization funded by grants, membership fees, ticket sales, fundraising efforts, and the generosity of individual and corporate benefactors.
