Celebrating 40 years as KSTP-TV ABC 5’s meteorologist, Dave Dahl will be joining the Rotary Club of North St. Paul-Maplewood-Oakdale as its celebrity host for its 17th Annual Sporting Clay Shoot, which is scheduled to be held at the Wild Wings of Oneka in Hugo, Minnesota, on September 8 at 11 a.m.
“We are delighted that Dave will be with us all day,” says Joe Stahlmann, President of the North St. Paul-Maplewood-Oakdale Rotary Club Foundation. “He is a big supporter of Rotary and welcomes the opportunity to further its activities.”
Throughout the day’s events, there will be wonderful food and fellowship, as well as a sporting clay shoot. Dave will meet with all of the participants and will have his picture taken with both the teams and the participants.
There will also be both a silent auction and a live auction with 100-percent of the day’s proceeds going toward upcoming Rotary projects. Rotary is dedicated to six key areas of focus, including building international relationships, improving lives, creating a better world, supporting our peace efforts and ending polio forever, which will support education, grow local economies, save mothers and children, promote peace, provide clean water and sanitation, and fight disease. The North St. Paul-Maplewood-Oakdale Rotary meets every Friday for a breakfast meeting at 7 a.m. at the Keller Golf Course, St. Paul.
