Image of the Butler BuildingTASTY TIDBITS FROM AITKIN!

  • And, I do mean “tasty”.

I had breakfast at the Birchwood Cafe this morning and had sausage and biscuits.  IT WAS BEYOND DESCRIPTION … I wallowed in it.  These 5″ biscuits are feather light and scrumptious.  The chef makes them every Thursday, Friday and Saturday and you can even buy one for later ($2.49) and worth every bit of that!  Those same days they have donut holes (better than Tim Horton’s) and cinnamon stick pastries.  Make sure you stop in and try the foods on their new menu which is debuting in  two weeks.

What else is tasty?  The Block North Brew Pub has opened in the old furniture store across from Butler’s and it will be a great destination.  Chef Peter Lowe is still tweaking the menu but I have three favorites and they are …Walleye Cakes, Mexican style grilled corn on the cob and fish and chips.  (You have to come and try them!)

Of course, I would be remiss if I didn’t give you highlights of the Butler Building.  For those of you who need privacy and broadband service 24/7 we have opened a shared office space facility that has just that plus conference room facilities, large screen TV for webinars and meetings plus desks with computers and printers.  It is key card accessible day and night and billable by the hour, day or week, whatever your needs may be.  We are still learning the door system but we should be up and running full time by April 1.  (If you have any questions, just give me a call 218-678-2441)

And, lastly, sad to say I Can Heal Your Mac is moving so that great front corner space is available … almost 600 square feet, main street exposure and only $550/month plus heat, light and common area charges.  Great visibility and a wonderful office space.

Hope you had a great St. Patrick’s Day … remember Vernal Equinox on Wednesday … 12 hour days!
